What I didn't Realize....
Everyone talks about how busy people get when they're planning their weddings and how they even become bridezillas or groomzillas. Little did I know the stress continues after the wedding. I have so much on my to-do list and am really trying to get it done before school starts for me on September 1st. Here's my to-do list:
Happier subject: Casey and Andy are engaged!!! I'm super excited! Tyler thinks I'm more excited about their wedding than ours. I told him it only seems like that because I don't have to stress about things! It's not focused on me...now the focus is on them :) I just have to enjoy and support! I'm very excited to know that the wedding fun is not over!!! And some of our wedding stuff will be used by them so we don't have to figure out what to do with it! Yay!!!! I can't wait! All I know so far is that it'll probably be in June 2012. Yay!!
Tyler and I also helped out Amber yesterday morning. We took Jackson and Brooklyn on a long walk, got them a donut each, and played at the park so Amber could have a couple of hours of quiet. I just hope she was able to sleep a little bit!
Ok, I should stop procrastinating and go shower and get started on the day. It's just hard because this dang migraine won't leave me alone :(
- change my name with Social Security (check!)
- change my name with DMV (got an appointment on Friday)
- change my name with the bank, OFY, CSUN, AAA, Toyota, order new checks, and who knows what else. If you can remember something/place that I need to change my name with, please remind me!!
- print pictures from the wedding and place into one of the wedding photo albums we've recieved for our engagement
- see if Luke will make the pictures prettier
- write vendor reviews (give Portos a bad one and comment that the florist made the wrong boutineer for tywy)
- sign up for 403b
- sign Tyler up for my benefits (check!)
- get back into shape
- clean out hallway cupboard/storage area
- clean house
- find the motivation to do all of this.

It's Over
The wedding is officially over and now we are back to normal life. It's hard adjusting to normal everyday life after spending every waking moment together and relaxing in the Dominican Republic. The wedding went super smoothly. The only hitch was Portos and their incessant calling asking where they were supposed to deliver the cake when it was already delivered. Stupid idiots. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect. I wish we were able to make it around to everyone to talk to them but we tried twice and were unsuccessful. I don't think we could've asked for a more perfect day though and before we knew it, it was over and we were at Joe's with "the Sister Wives family".
The Honeymoon was great! All-inclusive is definitely the way to go. The food was ok in my opinion but Tyler absolutely loved it! We made friends with our pool bartender and had a blast with him. Our days consisted of going to breakfast, sitting by the pool, eating, walking to the beach, sitting in the sun, going in the ocean, going back to the pool, and sitting in the pool drinking. It was absolutely wonderful.
Now we're back and have started completing our registries. We've also rearranged our apartment and bought "grown-up" furniture. We love the way it looks and are excited that we have the "married couple" apartment now.
Back to reality. I'm in the process of changing my name. I go to Social Security tomorrow and the DMV next Friday. Wish me luck. I hate this process and wish I could just snap my fingers and be done with it. School starts back up for us again on August 29th and then things are going to get crazy again. I will be tutoring a student in math too so it'll be nice to have some additional cash. I've joined a Fantasy Football League to occupy all my time now that the wedding is over. I plan to dominate!
That's all for now. I'm at work and should be preparing for an orientation but instead all I want to do is crawl under my desk and take a nap :)

Double Booked...
Yes, the yacht company double booked our wedding yacht and time.
Long story short, I received an email after trying to get in contact with the yacht company for a month saying something to the effect of: due to an error in our office, we'd like to offer you a free upgrade for your wedding on July 17th. Being the smartass I am, I emailed them back asking if the error was their horrible lack of communication with me. They responded to say that they double booked our wedding. On our contract, we were down for 12-4 on the Ambassador but on their calendar, they had us down for 6-10 on the Ambassador. Needless to say, I completely FLIPPED OUT! I emailed them saying it's not acceptable they did this and they have to pay for our invites to be reprinted. So, we came out of this with a stressful weekend AND new invites (x 2...I made a mistake on the reorders so I had to cancel that too....).
But, we have a bigger yacht now :) So it worked out.
Last night, I had my hair trial with Monica. She's amazing! I loved it and it's really starting to feel like the wedding is coming fast! We registered last weekend and we had SUCH a blast!!! We didn't fight at all and had such a wonderful time :) I'm getting super excited for the day that Tyla and I get married!!!
Anyway, I should get back to my hw....

Busy, Busy, Busy
It's Allison and I should be doing homework (I've been admitted to CSUN for a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction-Elementary Ed.) but I really don't feel like it.
We've had a very productive two weeks. Last Saturday, we went looking for rings and we managed to find one for Tyler. He loves it. According to him, it's extremely manly and exactly what he wanted. His ring was only 100 :). Then on Sunday, we met with our DJ and it seems like it'll be a blast :) He convinced us to upgrade to a computer based DJ system instead of the CD based one they were planning on using. Oh well. It happens....it'll be a lot better this way. Yesterday, I went down to Tustin Jewelry Market to find my ring instead of driving out to Utah, thanks to Brianna's suggestion. I took Casey with me and we ended up finding my perfect wedding band! It was in our price range and with the resizing of both of my rings, it ended up being 550. I think it's a pretty good deal!
The wedding is becoming more real now! When I saw Ty try on wedding bands it really hit that we'll be married in less than 5 months! It's getting pretty crazy but we're still having a blast. We spent last night filling out an additional packet for Tyler to get his passport. We don't really know why we have to fill it out but we're hoping that after it's sent away, we'll be able to get his passport! We also put together an example centerpiece and it looks great! When I was down in Tustin with Casey, we went to Jo-Ann's and chose a pattern for a flower girl dress for Brooklyn...it's going to be ADORABLE!
Now we're looking forward to next Sunday's registry party at Crate and Barrel! It's been a blast and we're still very excited.
I love you TyWy!

Eventful weekend
This weekend was very eventful. We went to Mens Warehouse and got me fitted for my tux. It really help make it feel like the wedding was only sx months awa. I am finally started to get the little tingles about it approaching, I am getting very excited. We also got the labels ready to be printed out and put on our invitations. We just have to check the addresses and names to make sure that they are right. We are starting to set up a schedule of what needs to be done and when we should get it done by. That is making Allison very happy! (I can tell) Of course this could be because she got here shoes/sandles which she is extremly excited about.

Honeymoon!!!
Finals are over. Christmas is over. Sending the deposit for our honeymoon is over.
Yes, we have booked our honeymoon for six nights in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC! It's at an all inclusive resort and it's absolutely beautiful! We are very excited about it. There are 12 different restaurants, our separate pool, a room bigger than our apartment with a jacuzzi tub, tons of free activities to do. It's perfect to go along with our perfect wedding and the perfect fiance! This is so wonderful. I'm excited for what the next 7 months have in store and what fun the years after that will be!
The hotel is called: The Reserve At Paradisus Punta Cana if you wanted to look at the pictures.
In other news, I'm officially chaperoning the Colorado trip for OFY...yay money for the wedding fund!!! As soon as I return, we're looking at wedding bands! I'm so excited. We're getting Tyler's passport at the beginning of January so he'll be able to go on the honeymoon ;)
We'll start registering in February so we'll keep you posted then!
I still love Tyler...in fact, I'm even more in love with him than ever before. He's just perfect.
